XenApp and XenDesktop

A previous name for the technology continued forward as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.


A feature for live migration of virtual machines. With it you can move a running virtual machine from one physical host system to another with only slight disruption or downtime.

XenServer Management API (XenAPI)

An API for Citrix Hypervisor. This name has been replaced with Citrix Hypervisor API. A management tool stack used in Citrix Hypervisor to remotely manage virtual machines and resource pools. Do not use XenAPI.
